A foam-backed abrasive roll combines two properties: it is cut to the length you need, and its foam follows shapes without creating flats. It handles profiles and mouldings that no rigid format can follow.

Why perforated
A perforated roll tears off by hand along the perforations, without scissors or a cutter. At a workstation where pieces are changed often, it avoids putting the tool down and looking for a blade, and the cut stays clean.
Foam or paper
A paper backing levels and corrects, but it creates flats on a shape and cracks at folds.
Foam follows the relief without correcting it. It is therefore made to scuff a surface that is already in shape evenly, not to correct a defect. The question to ask before choosing: do you want to change the shape, or only the surface finish?
